Adam Reker was born in the Pacific Northwest but has called Denver home for most of his life. His work ranges from playful to complex conveying themes of fear, conflict and the struggle between nature, man and technology. Adam is influenced by street art, collage, nature paintings, and folk art - blending them into a mashup of colorful pop images. Adam has shown at The Hibbleton Gallery in CA, The APW Gallery in NY and several Denver galleries including The Other Side Arts, Plastic Chapel, Neopolitan, Icelantic, IndyInk, Illiterate, and Meadowlark. Show opens Friday February 3rd 6:30-11:30 pm. Runs till the 12th of March, with closing reception the 10th of March. |
